Meet Jane, she lives with her husband & teenage son in Worcestershire.
In February 2013 in recognition of the year she hit the big Four-0 and she took a huge jump outside of her comfort zone to begin a blog about one of the main passions in life – FASHION.
At The Women’s Society we love Jane’s classic style with a fashion edge and feel it really enimates with all our lovely customers. Day to day easy styling that we all can achieve with some sensible purchases.
We teamed up recently with Jane on a few key pieces.
This week she is starting with a splash of colour & a pop of pattern featuring another of the new brands we stock Anonyme. An Italian brand that specialises in soft feminine silhouettes.
The dress I’m wearing today is a stunning vibrant red wrap design that comes with a separate slip & matching fabric tie belt. As you can see from the photos I’ve dressed the dress down with trainers & a simple knitted blazer & swapped the fabric tie belt for a wide leather belt. But equally the dress would look great with ballet pumps & a biker jacket or alternatively dressed up with court shoes or sandals for a special occasion. -Jane May 2018
The dress is £95 and the print also comes in a variety of other styles to add that splash of colour to your wardrobe.
Jane also took a fancy to our statement loafers with a Toucan design from Elia B. These are £99 and also come in a white colour way. The toucan design is also available in a slider style in a neutral colour.
The stunning embroidery & coloured piping are perfect for creating a statement to the simplest of looks & due to their leather lining they’re really soft & comfortable to wear. You can even fold down the heel to turn the shoe into a slip on loafer. I’m wearing a 7 & would say they’re quite true to size. -Jane April 2018
Jane has a love for tailored & timeless pieces, ‘a statement jacket can have me at hello, which both my wardrobe & husband will vouch for’! She believes in incorporating up to the minute trends with stylish finds from both the high street & designer brands whilst focusing on adding detailing to transform the simplest of outfits. ‘As well as occasionally releasing my inner ‘Bet’ & love of all things leopard print’. Leopard print is defiantly a favourite with all the WS ladies and doesn’t hang around in the shop for long!
